Process for flip book

Process of a flip book

  • ·         Conceptualise the scene in your mind, what you want to capture
  •       Start by drawing 48 frames ( give or take a few) however when creating a photo one you don't need to draw any frames, you only need to figure out how you are placing your images and how many pages it takes.
  • start placing the images on the right side of the card
  • ·         When satisfied with frames attach a rubber band at the left side
  • ·         Then test out the flip book

  • i      I will use this method to create my flip book using my photos by selecting a subject to use to be the subject of my flip book. Most flip books are using drawings to play out a scene as this is the easiest way to make a flip book. Most photo flip books have a range between 24 and 30 frames for a effective flip book to create a visually appealing flip book using images.  The most effective way to capture movement using a camera is to use the mode sport as this can take constitutional shots. Another method is to take simple shots then move the subject to make it look like the subject has changed position.

          Ideas for my flip book.

Most of these examples are drawn as these are the most popular type to create.
